24 ⅛ x 19 in. Black and white photographic print of Bruce Springsteen. Original photograph by Eric Meola during the Born to Run sessions and used as the album’s inside gatefold image. Signed "Eric Meola / 2006" to lower right corner in black gel ink.
Meola worked with Springsteen and saxophonist Clarence Clemons to shoot accompanying photographs for Born to Run in June 1975, capturing the iconic Born to Run cover image as well as other, stripped-down, black and white photos of the pair. Photos from the session were exhibited at Snap Galleries in 2006, and the present print was purchased from the exhibition as the third of 15 offered of this particular image.
