ferrotyped gelatin silver print, the photographer's Magnum Photos credit stamp and a typed caption label in German on the reverse
image: 9⅛ by 7¾ in. (23.2 by 19.7 cm.)
Executed in 1949.
The typed label reads as follows: '"Die Unterdrueckung der farbigen Voelker muss ein Ende nehmen. Es darf keine Kolonien mehr geben..." man kann in Hyde Park fuer und gegen alles sprechen - sogar gegen die Englaender.' ["The oppression of the colored peoples must come to an end. There must be no more colonies..." in Hyde Park you can speak for and against everything - even against the English.]
