This French musical comedy was directed by Michel Boisrond. Roger Vadim wrote the screenplay and it stars Brigitte Bardot, as sexy wild child Brigitte, daughter of night club owner Paul Latour (Bernard Lancret). The police suspect Latour of being the ringleader in a counterfeit ring, as his night club is being used as a front for a gang of forgers. Latour has been framed and travels to Switzerland, where Brigitte is at finishing school, to establish who's set him up. Not wanting Brigitte to get caught up in the police investigation, he asks handsome cabaret entertainer Jean Clery (Jean Bretonnière), who sings at his club, to take Brigitte out of school and look after her for a few days. During this time Brigitte causes absolute chaos - upsetting people, starting a fire, causing problems between Clery and his fiancée, and ends up in prison for swearing. All comes right in the end, with Latour finding out a few home truths about his 'baby' !
