of baluster form, each painted in the round with a group of song thrushes in a wooded landscape with flowers, signed 'PB' to lower left, the claret-ground flared neck and foot with a gilt acanthus leaf border, AP mark in Cyrillic and 1823 in blue to underside of foot hidden by fittings, incised numerals
