This is Dink Pate’s Nameplate from the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend.

Pate began his pro journey straight from high school—becoming the youngest U.S.-born pro ever when he bypassed college in April 2023 to join NBA G League Ignite. After Ignite folded, he signed with the Mexico City Capitanes in July 2024.

Across 81 G League games (Ignite + Capitanes), he averaged 9.4 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 0.7 steals, and logged 24.3 minutes per game while shooting 38.9% overall, 27.6% from three, and 66.3% from the free‑throw line . In 2024‑25 with Capitanes, he elevated his game to 10.3 PPG, 4.8 RPG, and 1.7 APG on improved 41.3% shooting.

A former five-star recruit, Pate averaged 20.3 PPG at Pinkston High and was named District 13‑4A MVP in 2022‑23.He has flashed scoring flair—posting 16 points & 9 assists in one Ignite game and a recent 26-point, 6-rebound, 4-assist, and 3-steal explosion with Capitanes.

His strong showings in the G League’s Rising Stars exhibition further showcased his quick scoring and shot-making ability.

A long-bodied, scoring lead guard with floor vision and competitiveness—Dink Pate blends youth and growth into a versatile backcourt piece. With continued refinement of his shot and decision-making, he projects as a mid-to-late second-round pick or two-way NBA roster candidate.
