In 2024‑25 with Capitanes, he elevated his game to 10.3 PPG, 4.8 RPG, and 1.7 APG on improved 41.3% shooting.

A former five-star recruit, Pate averaged 20.3 PPG at Pinkston High and was named District 13‑4A MVP in 2022‑23.He has flashed scoring flair—posting 16 points & 9 assists in one Ignite game and a recent 26-point, 6-rebound, 4-assist, and 3-steal explosion with Capitanes.

His strong showings in the G League’s Rising Stars exhibition further showcased his quick scoring and shot-making ability.
