This neutral ‘Association Edition’ jersey was worn by Alperen Şengün on December 14, 2024, during the Emirates NBA Cup Semifinals, when the Houston Rockets played the Oklahoma City Thunder in Las Vegas, NV. 


Şengün recorded a double-double, finishing with 13 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. The Rockets lost to the Thunder, 111-96. 


This jersey was also worn by Şengün in the following games:


On December 3, 2024, during the Emirates NBA Cup, when the Houston Rockets played the Sacramento Kings. Şengün finished with 24 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 1 steal. The Rockets lost to the Kings 120-111. 


On November 26, 2024, during the Emirates NBA Cup, when the Houston Rockets played the Minnesota Timberwolves. Şengün recorded a triple-double, finishing with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 11 assists, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. The Rockets beat the Timberwolves, 117-111. 


The Turkish phenom, Şengün, has gained the honorable nickname, 'Baby Jokic.' He has represented the Turkish national team since playing for their U-16 team in 2018 where they won a bronze medal at the FIBA Europe U-16 Championship. He also led the Turkey U-18 team to a silver medal at the FIBA Europe U-18 Championship and played for professional teams in Turkey before being drafted by the Rockets in 2021.


Alperen Şengün was drafted with the 16th pick in the 1st round of the 2021 NBA Draft. At the time of cataloging, he has career averages of 15.5 points per game, 8.3 rebounds per game, and 3.9 assists per game.
