Bam Adebayo ‘NBA All-Star’ Prototype Practice Jersey

This 'NBA All-Star Edition’ prototype practice jersey was issued for Bam Adebayo for the 2025 All-Star practice on February 15, 2025. Although Adebayo was not ultimately selected as a participant in the All-Star Game, this practice jersey was made by the NBA as a prototype before the All-Star roster was decided.

Coming out of the University of Kentucky, there was little question about Bam Adebayo’s physical traits. Despite his supreme athleticism, Bam, at 6’9”, was considered an undersized Forward/Center who didn’t shoot from the perimeter. The Heat drafted Bam with the 14th pick in the 1st round of the 2017 NBA Draft, and questions about his game were quickly dispelled by his play on the defensive side of the ball and playmaking ability. Bam broke out in his 3rd season, being named to the NBA All-Star Game for the first time and playing a vital role in the Miami Heat’s run to the 2019-2020 NBA Finals. Bam has improved each season offensively, averaging a career-best 21 points per game in the 2023-2024 season. 

 At the time of cataloging, Bam has career averages of 15.7 points per game, 8.9 rebounds per game, and 3.6 assists per game. He is a 3-time NBA All-Star and has been named to the NBA All-Defensive 2nd Team 4 times. Adebayo was named to the NBA All-Defensive 1st Team in 2024. Adebayo was named to the NBA All-Defensive 1st Team in 2024, and with his stellar prowess on the court, was also named to the United States' 2024 Olympic squad.
