Introduced for the 2025–26 NBA season, the Trophy Patch is a new symbol of recognition worn only once during each honoree’s first game of the year. Positioned above the Nike Swoosh, the patch mirrors the design of the player’s award trophy, marking the first time individual achievements have been celebrated directly on-uniform. Only 35 special Trophy Patches were issued league-wide.

This away ‘Icon Edition’ jersey features the All-Rookie Second Team Patch and was worn by Kel’el Ware on October 22, 2025, during the NBA Tip-Off, when the Miami Heat played the Orlando Magic.

Ware was drafted 15th overall by the Miami Heat in the 2024 NBA Draft. In his rookie year, he appeared in 64 games (36 starts), averaging 9.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in about 22 minutes per game while shooting 55.4% from the floor. With a blend of rim protection, rebounding, and some offensive touch (including occasional three-point shooting), Ware projects as a high-upside modern big man with the potential to be an impact frontcourt piece for Miami.
