Gobert finished with 13 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 1 block. The Timberwolves lost to the Thunder, 128-126.


This jersey was also worn by Gobert on May 24, 2025, during Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals, when the Minnesota Timberwolves played the Oklahoma City Thunder.


Gobert finished with 7 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. The Timberwolves beat the Thunder, 143-101. 


Nicknamed the "Stifle Tower," Rudy Gobert has been a phenomenal star out of France and an early indicator of the significance of French players in today's NBA.

Born in Saint-Quentin, Aisne, in the north of France, Gobert's father was an NCAA basketball player and played on the French National team. By the age of 11, Gobert was playing for various club teams in France, and by 15 he joined Cholet Basket's training center.


In 2010 at 18 years old, Gobert played for France in the FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship where he was the team's top scorer and rebounder. Gobert played 2 seasons for the Cholet Basket senior team from 2011-2013. Despite not playing much for Cholet in the 2011-2012 season in the games he did play Gobert was the team's standout star. In the 2012-2013 season, he began playing more and posted better averages, declaring for the 2013 NBA Draft. At Gobert's NBA Draft Combine, he broke the record for wingspan and standing reach, exciting scouts and fans alike.


Rudy Gobert was drafted with the 27th overall pick in the 1st round of the 2013 NBA Draft. At the time of cataloging, he has career averages of 12.6 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. 


Gobert is a 3-time All-Star, 7-time NBA All-Defensive First Team selection, and a four-time Defensive Player of the Year Award Winner. 


Gobert has also helped lead France to two Silver medals in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2024 Paris Olympics.
