inscribed A. Rodin; stamped with the foundry mark E. Godard Fondr and © by musée Rodin 1995 and numbered 2/8 (on the base)

height: 25 in. 63.5 cm.
Conceived circa 1885; this example cast in 1995.
This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue critique de l'oeuvre sculpté d'Auguste Rodin currently being prepared by the Comité Rodin in collaboration with Galerie Brame & Lorenceau under the direction of Jérôme Le Blay under the archive number 2024-7304B.
