Meiji period, late 19th century
four woodblock prints, from the series One Hundred Aspects of the Moon (Tsuki hyakushi), published by Akiyama Buemon (Kokkeido); each with collector's seal of Gerhard Pulverer to verso, and comprising:
- Musashi Plain Moon (Musashino no tsuki), signed and sealed Yoshitoshi, 1st month 1891
- Hazy-night Moon, Kumasaka (Oboroyo no tsuki, Kumasaka), dark indigo ground, signed Yoshitoshi, sealed Taiso, 1st month 1887
- Bon Festival Moon (Bon no tsuki), signed Yoshitoshi, sealed Taiso, 1st month 1887
- Lady Gosechi (Gosechi no myobu), signed Yoshitoshi, sealed Taiso, 6th month 1887
