Four surimono
Edo period, 19th century
Each a woodblock print, surimono, each privately issued, circa 1810s, each with collector’s seal of Gerhard Pulverer to the verso; and comprising:
- The Exile of Ariwara no Yukihira at Suma, sealed Shunman
- Young woman on horseback accompanied by attendants, Shosado Shunman ga (Pictured by Shosado Shunman)
- Open and closed fans, one fan signed Shosado ga (Pictured by Shosado)
- Young woman and man writing poetry, signed Shosado Shunman
Various sizes from 13.3 x 17.8 cm., 5¼ x 7 in. to 13.3 x 18.8 cm., 5¼ x 7½ in.
