Edo period, 19th century
the complete set of three woodblock prints, from the series Snow, Moon and Flowers (Setsugekka), each signed Saki no Hokusai Iitsu hitsu (Brush of Iitsu, the former Hokusai), censor’s seal kiwame (approved), published by Nishimuraya Yohachi (Eijudo), circa 1833; each with collector's seal of Gerhard Pulverer to verso, and comprising:
- Snow on the Sumida River (Sumida)
- Moonlight on the Yodo River (Yodogawa)
- Cherry Blossoms at Yoshino (Yoshino)
Each horizontal oban:
24 x 37 cm., 9½ x 14½ in. (the first)
24.1 x 37 cm., 9½ x 14½ in. (the second)
26 x 38.2 cm., 10¼ x 15 in. (the third)
