Possibly from the play Nanohana Akebono Soga performed at the Nakamura-za Theatre, 1st month 1741. Another print by Kiyonobu II in the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, accession number 11.19096, depicts Ichikawa Ebizo II in a similar manner unfurling a scroll of a spiny lobster (ise ebi).
