Edo - Taisho period, 19th - 20th century
the paintings and sketches of various subjects, some with various signatures, and including: three seated figures, an ink painting depicting a temple and thatched dwellings among hills and pine; tray landscape; pufferfish (fugu) with signature Hokusai hitsu; the woodblock-printed fragment of a kimono design with iris motif; the small surimono depicting torii before bamboo grove; the small woodblock print of red-capped cranes and their young beside bamboo
