The IWC Big Pilot takes its inspiration from the B-Uhr from 1940 made as military navigator’s watches.
The brand re-introduced the B-Uhr, also called Big Pilot model, in 2OO2 under the reference 5002, such as the present lot.
The dial layout was designed for optimal readability. The movement is powered by the impressive cal. 5011 enabling 7 days of power reserve and is equipped with a date function displayed at 6 o'clock.
