Introduced in 1981, the Patek Philippe Nautilus reference 3800 was created as a more compact interpretation of the original reference 3700 designed by Gérald Genta. Measuring 37.5 mm in diameter, it retained the signature porthole-inspired case, round bezel and integrated bracelet. Over its two-decade production, the reference 3800 was presented in a wide variety of configurations, reflecting Patek Philippe's creativity during this period.
The present example, reference 3800/1A-001, features a clean black dial and stainless steel case and bracelet. Accompanied by its Certificate of Origin, Extract from the Archives and full presentation set, this watch represents an incredible opportunity to acquire one of Patek Philippe's most enduring designs.
