Omega Seamaster 300 was launched in 1957 and is a diving watch specially designed for professional and amateur divers. The 2913 is part of the 1957 trilogy with the Speedmaster and the Railmaster, three of the most legendary models released by Omega.
Powered by the reliable and accurate calibre 501, it sports a black dial with highly luminous triangular hour markers.
This particular example features a very rare characteristic, it has the most sought- after FAP engraving on the back. FAP refers to Fuerza Aérea del Perú. The Peruvian Airforce was created in 1929 and has actively protected its Nation since, taking part in military conflicts such as the Peruvian-Ecuadorian War, the Cold War and the Cenepa War to name but a few. Omega supplied the FAP mostly with CK 2915 references, making the present watch an extremely rare iteration of an already elusive reference. Timepieces with such engraving are exceptionnally collectible watches.
