Founded by German watchmaker Gerhard Diedrich Wilhelm Wempe in 1878, the prestigious jeweler has expanded from a German company into an international business. Since 1972, Herbert Wempe has received an official license from Patek Philippe to retail their extravagant timepieces in Hamburg.
Introduced in 2003, the reference 5125 was released to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the company and the unique relationship between Wempe and Patek Philippe. The model was produced as a limited edition of 125 pieces only for each gold colour as well as 100 pieces in platinum.
This annual calendar proudly features the name of the retailed on the moon-phases subsidiary dial.
The present watch is accompanied by its certificate and all original accessories. The watch has been retained in very good condition and can be considered an important additional to any collection.
