The Nautilus reference 5990 was introduced in 2014 and represents a significant milestone for the iconic Nautilus collection. It combines a dual time zone display and a chronograph function, an engineering feat that required the movement and case to be meticulously redesigned. The octagonal Nautilus silhouette allows the chronograph pushers to be elegantly integrated on the right side of the case, while the dual time zone controls are positioned on the left. The balanced dial further exemplifies the Nautilus' signature sporty yet refined aesthetic, marking a new chapter in the collection's lineage.
The pink gold version, such as the present lot, was introduced in 2021. This livery pushed to desirability of the model to new heights and continues to fascinate collectors.
