The Rolex 116518LN, together with its white and pink gold counterparts, was introduced in March 2017 at the Baselworld fair. These pieces continued the tradition of precious Daytona case on non-precious metal bracelet. The 11651x LN is fitted the Oysterflex bracelet, first seen on the Yacht-Master in 2015, and with a black Cerachrom bezel first seen on the 116500LN introduced in 2016. The Daytona Cerachrom bezel, but in chestnut brown, was initially fitted on the platinum version, reference 116506, which as unveiled in 2013 for the 50th anniversary of the legendary Rolex chronograph.
While the previous gold Daytona on non-gold bracelet had a more classic appearance, the Oysterflex enhances the sport and masculine look of the model. Made in elastomer with a flexible plate of titanium and nickel alloy, it offers incredible comfort, strength and resistance Thanks to it, its owner can continue to enjoy his/her watch in all circumstances, including when swimming, which would have been damageable to a leather strap.
The meteorite dial was introduced on the 116518LN in 2021 and instantly became the most sought-after version of the model.
This example, presented on behalf of a private collector, is offered in immaculate condition and complete with its accessories.
