Launched in 2015, the Anchor Tourbillon marked a monumental achievement for Ulysse Nardin after 8 years of dedicated research and development. Featuring the groundbreaking Ulysse Anchor escapement with a constant force mechanism, this timepiece incorporates a highly innovative design. The tourbillon is crafted from silicium, a material that is incredibly light, anti-magnetic, and durable, ensuring optimal performance. The proud 60-second tourbillon escapement can be viewed at 6 o'clock on the dial, visually showcasing the watch's mechanical complexity.
The Anchor Tourbillon was available in various dial options, and was produced in different sets of limited series. The limited nature of the series makes it a rare and sought-after collector’s item. The present lot, number 1 of only 18 pieces, is cased in white gold and features a white enamel dial.
