As any discerning collector will know, the slightest variation on a watch, but especially on the dial, can exponentially increase both the collectibility and price. Much like military or Khanjar dials, retailer signatures are another minute dial variation which have become highly sought after, perhaps none more so than the ‘Tiffany & Co.’ stamp. The American retailer began retailing Rolex watches in the late 1950s, and starting in the New York flagship store, was approved to stamp their name on the dials. Decades later, and indeed after Rolex revoked the right for any retailer to stamp their dials, Rolexes co-signed ‘Tiffany & Co.’ have become extremely collectible.
