Though nowadays many may consider Piaget to be more of a jewellery oriented watch brand, horology is deeply engrained in the company’s DNA. Indeed, founder Georges-Édouard Piaget was passionate about watchmaking from a young age, and in 1874 at age 19 set up his first workshop on his family farm. Throughout their history, they have not only designed refined and elegant watches, but also supplied calibres to the likes of Cartier. The present watch, an understated and chic dress watch, is a taste of Piaget’s deep seeded passion.
