The reference 3940 is one of the most elegant perpetual calendars from Patek Philippe's collection. With an extensive history, production of this watch started as early as the mid 1980s until 2007. The present example can be identified as the 2nd series of the collection, distinguishable for the lack of accent in the "E" of "GENEVE" text. It also features the sought after two-tone 24 hour subsidiary dial. An attractive example for the discerning collector overall.
