The present watch is truly intriguing with a rarely seen split seconds chronograph complication. Its start, stop, and reset functions are all managed by a single button integrated into the winding crown. The upper pusher activates the split-seconds function, allowing measurement of multiple timeframes. Appearing as if a reset button, the lower pusher is actually a sliding piece which can be used to lock the chronograph to prevent sudden activation. Fitted with an enigmatic snail dial, the present lot represents the technical know how of Eberhard in the 40s. The watch is presented in exceptional overall condition with wonderful mirror chapter ring and Breguet numerals.
