Cartier is a brand that has experienced a meteoric rise in collectibility, appreciation and scholarship in recent years, with the Tank Louis perhaps being the most widely appreciated model. Being arguably the most simple and distilled design of the family, the Louis has remained core to the brand’s DNA and catalogue ever since its introduction over a century ago.

Over the years countless variations have been made, with the present example being manufactured during the Louis Cartier Collection era spanning the 70s and 80s. Hallmarks of this era include a stark white lacquer dial, often prone to cracking, as well as a range of dial marks and case sizes. The present Tank Louis features a pristine Mark 3 Paris dial and is cased in the small size. The overall condition will appeal to astute collectors, and the bracelet is sure to further impress.
