The reference 3970 is a model which needs little introduction in our day and age. Once the underappreciated little brother of Patek Philippe's perpetual calendar chronograph family, stuck awkwardly between the emblematic 2499 and fan-favourite 5970, current market trends have brought collectors back to modestly sized and vintage flavoured wristwatches, and with this the 3970 has finally gained the recognition that connoisseurs have always felt it deserved.

The present 3970/2 is the integrated bracelet version, far rarer than the standard 3970 and coveted by collectors. What connoisseurs will appreciate here is the long length of the bracelet, as these have to be cut down to size for individual clients, surviving examples of the 3970/2 often only possess very short bracelets. The rest of this example is equally well preserved and is sure to prove attractive to all watch enthusiasts.
