After years of producing quartz-powered Modello Tre Chronographs, Unimatic, in May of 2025, collaborated with Henry Singer to introduce the reference U3S-HS, an automatic Modello Tre with a cool grey dial and bezel in a limited edition of 36 pieces. This reference, U3S-HSP, is a continuation of that first Henry Singer collaboration and a unique piece, produced and numbered on the caseback as a one-of-one example, never to be made again.
In stainless steel and measuring 41.5mm in diameter (40mm if not accounting for the bezel overhang), the U3S-HSP is robust and utilitarian – descriptors that have come to epitomize the ethos of Unimatic since its founding in 2015 by two industrial designers from Milan, Italy, Simone Nunziato and Giovanni Moro. Stepping away from the typically staid aesthetic of the brand, this unique piece is adorned with a bold pink dial, a tribute to the iconic pink ribbon, the universal symbol of breast cancer awareness.
The reference U3S-HSP represents Unimatic’s third collaboration with Henry Singer, a Canadian luxury menswear retailer, and their first one-of-a-kind project. Jordan Singer, President of Henry Singer Fashion Group, is a watch enthusiast and collector, a viewpoint that leads to details such as the steel relief-style tachymeter bezel on the present watch – an important departure from the previous reference U3S-HS.
The seller's proceeds from the auction will be donated to the AIRC Foundation for Cancer Research, Italy’s leading funding body for independent cancer research. Founded in 1965, this foundation has long been committed to supporting independent cancer research, transforming scientific discoveries into effective treatments. Through a rigorous and transparent selection process, AIRC funds the most promising ideas from both established researchers and emerging talents at every stage of their careers. This commitment has contributed to a 54% increase in cancer survival rates (10-year survival data from 2010 to 2020). Over the past six decades, AIRC has invested approximately 2.5 billion euros in thousands of research projects and currently supports the work of 5,400 researchers across 96 predominantly public research institutes in Italy.
