Launched in 1937 and produced until at least 1941, reference 572 is distinguished for its unusual case design. The trapezoid-shaped hinged lugs feature a click system to accommodate a specially designed leather strap with a variety of hooks such a T-bar lugs, a cord bracelet, or, as in this example, a pin buckle. The two-piece case was crafted by Antoine Gerlach, as indicated by the key number 4 stamped inside the case back.
Although the case measures just 31 mm, it wears slightly larger thanks to its elongated lugs and strap. Pink-on-pink Patek pieces are highly sought after, and we are pleased to offer this lovely example, seldom seen on the market.
