The Reference 43041 took inspiration from the Art Deco period, during which many prominent watch brands such as Cartier, Audemars Piguet, Breguet and Vacheron & Constantin produced watches with the jump hour complication. Its name, the 'Saltarello', is taken from an Italian dance and music genre that originated in the 14th century, named for its characteristic hopping step derived from the Italian saltare, meaning 'to jump'.
Produced as a limited edition in 1997, only 500 examples of the Reference 43041 were produced, comprising of 100 examples in yellow gold, 200 examples in white gold, and 200 examples in pink gold. The pink gold examples stand out particularly for its pink dial on pink case combination compared to the yellow and white gold examples fitted with a silvered dial.
We are pleased to offer the present pink on pink 43041/000R-8675 numbered 143 out of 200 accompanied by its original presentation box and papers.
