Introduced in 1996, the 1815 collection was created by Walter Lange in tribute to his great-grandfather’s birth in 1815. Its design drew inspiration from the brand’s finest historic pocket watches, characterized by large cases, railway-track minute scales, and Arabic numerals - elements that have since become defining features of the collection.

In 2015, the debut of the 1815 Chronograph Boutique Edition captured attention with its distinctive use of blue accents, a color never before seen in the series. This edition also marked the return of the pulsometer scale, one of the collection’s most beloved and long-absent details. Positioned along the inclined periphery of the dial, the pulsometer lends a vintage character while elegantly framing the dial’s composition. A railway minute track with precisely calibrated hash marks encircles the design. Each five-minute interval is denoted by a bold dot, while every fifteen-minute mark is highlighted by three dots - a nod to 19th-century Saxon porcelain motifs. Beyond this structured layout sit the signature Arabic numerals, here rendered in striking contrast against the rich blue tones that define the Boutique Edition’s captivating aesthetic.

At the heart of this exceptional timepiece lies the manually wound caliber L951.5, celebrated for its technical mastery and immaculate hand-finishing. Visible through the sapphire crystal case back, the movement features a column wheel, flyback function, and hand-engraved balance cock, all finished to Lange’s uncompromising standards.

Housed in a 39.5 mm white gold case, this boutique exclusive timepiece is presented in excellent condition, complete with its original box and paperwork.
