In 2009, A. Lange & Söhne introduced the Zeitwerk collection, featuring an innovative digital “Time Bridge” display with jumping hours and minutes. A true technical marvel, it combined aesthetic refinement with mechanical brilliance. Presented in a 44 mm case with a sapphire crystal display back, the model reveals its remarkable caliber—incorporating a constant-force escapement and remontoire to ensure each digital display advances instantaneously at every passing minute, ten-minute interval, and hour.
In 2019, to mark the tenth anniversary of the original Zeitwerk, A. Lange & Söhne introduced the visually striking Zeitwerk Date in 18k white gold, reference 148.038. Featuring a grey dial, its peripheral date ring is crafted from glass and printed with numerals from 1 to 31, with the current date highlighted in red. This ingenious system allows for a clean, unobstructed dial layout while maintaining optimal legibility. The date advances precisely at midnight and can be adjusted manually via the pusher at 8 o’clock.
We are pleased to offer the present Zeitwerk Date, which is a hallmark of German precision engineering, accompanied by its original accessories.
