The Reference 116710BLNR was introduced in 2013 and remained in production until 2019. It gained its nickname the 'Batman' with its black and blue color scheme on the cerachrom bezel, which was reminiscent of Batman's classic comic book colors. The technology of cerachrom is entirely unique to Rolex and results in a virtually scratch proof and vibrantly colored bezel that is unaffected by UV rays. The Batman was in fact the first Rolex watch to achieve what was thought impossible - a two-tone Cerachrom bezel. It was a material breakthrough since cerachrom is a difficult material to work with. This simple fact in itself has made the original Batman Rolex a valuable item among collectors.
This present example of the discontinued Batman is preserved in excellent, unworn condition with its original stickers and comes with its original set of accessories.
