The Ronde model has been an exception in the catalogue of Cartier since its original introduction around 1937. Designed by Louis Cartier, it does not use the signature rectangular shape but instead, it adopts the very classic round case. However, the rest of the watch follows the Cartier's style with the sapphire cabochon, blued steel Breguet hands, concentric Roman numerals and cheming de fer. With this reference, Cartier introduced a 24 hour indication, for a subtle sport twist. Finally, it has a beautifully decorated manual winding movement that can be admired through the sapphire display back.
