Please note that the description in the catalogue note should be named Cierin and not as stated in the printed catalogue.

Purple Gold, a combination of material science and aesthetic ambition, is one of the most difficult precious metals to create. While rose gold acquires its blush from copper and white gold from metals like nickel or palladium, purple gold achieves its colour through a daring and volatile partnership of gold with aluminium. Cierin, in Japan, is a leading pioneer in purple gold jewellery.
