Description

Bowmore Arc-54 The Iridos Edition 43.2 abv

LYING IN GREENFORD, MIDDLESEX

Offered Duty Paid

† Standard VAT applies to hammer price and buyer's premium

Exclusively offered at Sotheby's, this is a 1-of-1 version of Bowmore Arc-54 containing a completely unique whisky and with the iconic "Iridos" titanium lid, which takes its name from the Latin for "rainbow" and "iridescence".

  • Consigned directly by Bowmore distillery to Sotheby's and auctioned for charity
  • This bespoke single malt was drawn from three casks of two different types: a 1967 European oak butt, a 1968 Sherry butt and a 1968 American oak hogshead
  • Bottled at 54 Years Old
  • The iridescent effect on the titanium lid was created using a heat treatment process that mimics the patina that naturally develops on the Aston Martin Valkyrie's exhaust system.
  • Proceeds from this auction will benefit the communities which support Suntory Global Spirit’s distilleries in Scotland
