Description
Château Latour 1949
Pauillac, 1er Cru Classé
u. 2ms, bin-soiled labels, slightly nicked and corroded capsules, chateau and vintage embossed capsules revealing vintage branded corks
In 2012, a deep, mature colour. A bouquet of pure perfumed bliss, indicating the beauty and elegance of the year. The palate is pretty good too, less powerful than it was (naturally) but still classically Latour and multi-dimensional. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
