Description

Château Haut Brion Blanc 1995

Pessac-Léognan (Graves)

Levels into the neck, slightly bin-soiled labels

That wonderful lanolin/grapefruit/mineral nose. Glorious full, fruity taste with superb acidity balance and a nutty, toasty finish. Exquisite and lush. At 15 years old, that wonderful mineral and petrol nose that is so top white Pessac-Léognan. Then the grapefruit scent kicks in. Maybe this is one of the very few wines that actually tastes of grapes! Sweet, gentle ripeness. A flavour of French toast, as tasted in New Orleans.
