The most hedonistic liquorice and black fruit nose. Perfect balance of fruit, acidity and tannin. Glycerol and yet lacy finesse too. Coffee and blackberries and a long, long aftertaste. Such an incredible mouthful. Meaty, full and with extraordinary flesh and fruit. In 2013, absolutely ready - thank goodness, as now I do not feel guilty about drinking it! Serena Sutcliffe, MW
