Château Troplong Mondot 2012
St. Emilion, 1er Grand Cru Classé (B)
90% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc. 100% new wood. A very late vintage here, finishing on 23rd October for the Cabernet Sauvignon. In 2015, extremely aromatic on the nose and rich and opulent on the palate. Tarry and teeth-coating. Impressive. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
