Cabernet Franc 49%, Merlot 47%, Cabernet Sauvignon 4%. In 2020, a nose of chocolate and cocoa, utterly tempting. All juicy blueberries on the palate, succulent and with that fresh vigour of 2000. This does not have the 'Russian leather' of Cheval Blanc itself, but it is so full of youth and blackberry, mouth-filling fruit. It just stays as a teenager in the glass. What a perfect profile. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
