In 2021, drunk in Greece with rice and herb-filled tomatoes and sweet peppers, this was completely show-stopping. The rich, straw-like bouquet has strong elements of orange zest and gentle ginger that are positively hedonistic. I always sense the great Rocoules site in this. The sheer opulence and orange honey flavours on the palate are intoxicating, filling the mouth with waxy richness and yet always retaining verve and freshness. I am totally in love with this wine and just wish it crossed my path more often... Serena Sutcliffe, MW
