Merlot 93%, Cabernet Franc 7%. In 2019, the nose is 'irony' and 'grand vin', leading to the big tannic structure and volume on the palate. Sweet and meaty at the same time. The exotic spices and glycerol lurk in the background, with the intention of lasting for decades, if so wished. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
