Château Rauzan-Ségla 2010
Margaux, 2ème Cru Classé
60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 37% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 1% Petit Verdot. The Grand Vin was 45% of total production. 12% press wine added. 60% new oak. 15 points more on the tannin index than in 2005, but the wine is so velvety that these tannins are totally masked. In 2014, a really "wild", exciting nose. A terrific mouthful of stunning black fruit on the palate, with accompanying freshness. Positively majestic. Serena Sutcliffe, MW WA 95+
