Description

Château La Mission Haut-Brion 1998

Talence (Pessac-Léognan), Grand Cru Classé

Levels into the neck

In 2025, showing in stupendous fashion. A great, blooming, Pessac-Léognan bouquet, full of almost oriental promise!  Mouth-filling, with ripe, spicy fruit and terrific structure.  Utterly satisfying and multi-dimensional in flavour and depth.  Could well be the best Left Bank wine of the vintage - each sip convinced me of it.  One felt honoured to see such vinous perfection, an absolute monument to both the property and the appellation.  Serena Sutcliffe, MW
