Tasted at the Château in April, during the En Primeur tastings. Huge, all-enveloping, opulent nose. Amazing mocha and black fruit energy on the palate. It has a crispness to it, due to the great health of the raw material. Blueberries bound out of the glass at you. There is great tannin hiding behind velvet curtains. A landmark Palmer.
