In 2022, this is sensational, but really... A great colour, where some 1963s have leached due to the spirit used then, followed by a fabulous fruity nose, rich and 'out there'. Stunning cherries on the palate, with a touch of rosemary, and truly voluptuous. Wondrous Warre! Glycerol and all the red and black fruits à gogo, plus liquorice. All the wines herein have impeccable provenance, having been purchased directly on release from an esteemed London merchant, and kept in professional storage in the UK and Hong Kong until this auction.
