In 2024, once again, is this the greatest Masseto ever? A superb, rich, plush and plummy nose - Pomerol on steroids. Blueberries and just picked wild blackberries. Total, voluptuous nirvana on the palate, with the all-enveloping glycerol and sweetness of Merlot. All the wines herein have impeccable provenance, having been purchased directly on release from an esteemed London merchant, and kept in professional storage in the UK and Hong Kong until this auction.
