Cabernet Sauvignon 57%, Merlot 30%, Cabernet Franc 13%. In 2022, violets, heather and cherries on the nose - lift off! Super luscious, super silky on the palate - this is mega opulence twinned with Lafite finesse, breed and then that hedonistic charge for the finish. As it develops in the glass, the black fruit intensifies. I 'got' the wine and the vintage on our 45th wedding anniversary - I must be improving! And, more important, the wine itself could make its century, in true Lafite fashion. To prove the point, in 2025 and from magnum, it is even fresher and gloriously sleek - breathtakingly beautiful. Immersed in the vibrant world of hospitality and gastronomy from a young age, the collector has cultivated a sophisticated palate, a deep appreciation for classic wines, and an unwavering commitment to quality. A successful entrepreneur and esteemed wine connoisseur, he is also renowned as a hotel and restaurant operator. His discerning taste shines through in this exceptional collection. 

This remarkable collection features some of the most exquisite Bordeaux Classified Growths and gems from legendary vintages such as Mouton Rothschild 1982, Latour 1982 and Petrus 1989. It also includes distinguished Champagnes from renowned houses such as Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs 1995 and Krug Clos du Mesnil 1990. Complementing these are wines from the iconic Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, spanning the late 1980s to 1990s. Offered in generous parcel quantities, this collection is a true celebration of elegance, tradition, and excellence.

Most of the collection has been acquired over the past three decades from UK and local wine merchants. Almost 100% of the wines were purchased more than 20 years ago. Vintage 1995 and onwards such as Mouton Rothschild and Comte de Champagne were mostly ordered and purchased on release in parcel quantities. The wines have been professionally stored in two professional, temperature-controlled cellars in Taipei since.
